Small place up some stairs, but after just coming back from two weeks in Japan, this place knocked it out of the park with their sushi rolls. Took my sister’s family out for lunch and we just kept ordering, everything we had was amazing both in taste and in presentation. Very assuming place from the outside, but well worth going up the stairs and ordering a meal. This place is the real deal.
The food was incredible. The sushi was super fresh and the seaweed salad and soups had a lot of great flavor. The staff were also super friendly and helpful when we had questions. Overall a hidden gem, and I strongly recommend for anyone who wants delicious sushi at a reasonable price.
We ordered sushi for delivery tonight, and we were really happy with what we received. The sushi rolls were fresh, and the variety was impressive. Each roll had great flavors, and the fish tasted incredibly fresh. The portions were generous, and everything was packaged neatly. I also appreciated that they included soy sauce and wasabi. It came right on time, which we appreciated. The price was reasonable, and the taste was absolutely delicious. Overall, it made for a wonderful dining experience at home. We will definitely order from them again.
The atmosphere was cozy and they seated us very quickly! The sushi was plated very well and was pretty unique in ingredients and taste. Food came out quick and our waitress was super nice :)
So I'll preface this with having grown up in Los Angeles, ate at amazing sushi spots in San Francisco and San Diego, and top it off with Hawaii for a week. This is hands down the best Japanese food I have ever had. I was confused as I went to it and the door said it was a phsycic reader. I called and a woman came to the upstairs window ushering me upstairs through the door. I ordered fried oysters, chicken teriyaki lunch with rice and soup, and a tuna and mackerel nigiri. Half way through I was confused as to what I was eating and realized it was the mackerel with a very submissive non-gamey flavor. The chicken teriyaki wasn't much to fuss about, wish it was grilled. The salad was the best I have ever had, not sure how to describe other then it was original. I told the manager all of this
