If you’re driving through Sioux City or traveling along I-29 / Hwy 141 🚗, you have to stop at Uncommon Grounds in Sloan — it’s worth the drive every time. ✨ Highlights: 🎃🍰 Pumpkin Cheesecake – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (slice of pure motivation!) ☕️✨ Monthly Special Latte – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (creative, tasty, and hands-down one of the best I’ve ever had) 💛 Atmosphere & People – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (friendly staff, welcoming vibe, you feel right at home) Shout-out to the owners, management, and staff 🙌👏 — you can tell they truly care about creating an experience, not just serving coffee. 👉 If you love great coffee, desserts, and good people, put this spot high on your list. Sloan may be small, but this shop is a must-visit destination.

I can’t express my gratitude enough for the aesthetic of this place. The owner really put in a great deal of effort to collect these items placed on display. Most of it is for SALE! The inside is beautiful, I couldn’t stop eye-gazing everywhere. So many little souvenirs and nicknacks! They also have a selection of herbal/holistic products that are lovely. 10/10 this place is the GO TO for antique lovers and coffee lovers! ❤️

Made an unexpected pit stop here on my drive from Omaha to Orange City, just searched along the route for a coffee shop and this one had the most stars so I gave it a chance! Absolutely was NOT disappointed! Full of great antiques, unique collectibles, modern gifts, and an excellent coffee selection with home-baked treats. Highly recommend.

Great selection of flavors Excellent service! Hot and cold coffee selections, smoothies, some food options like cookies/bars/muffins. Also some Hot breakfast options that can be ordered. Prices are comparable with similar coffee shops

This is one of my most favorite coffee shops in this area. They have such a cool selection of trinkets & gifts. Some of the stuff they sell are made by the locals or by hand. I definitely recommend stopping by to have breakfast, a coffee & browse around the shop
