Uptown Soul Food

OMG, this food was sooooo good. The turkey wings, the mac n cheese, the greens, the yams. Gawwd Dammmmnnn! Only thing I wish they could have is dressing, with gravy and them wings it would be heavenly! First time here, I’m telling everyone about it and recommending anyone to go!!! Where Keith Lee?!!!!! Love it! Much continued success to ya’ll. Will be back to have the catfish and fried chicken too soon ;)

I was pleasantly surprised to find (good) soul food that’s not in the city! These are grandma’s recipes! Loved every bite! I got turkey wings, collards, and black eyed peas! Nn it came with a soda. I’ll be back for sure! Definitely try them out.

I’m not originally from here, but let me tell you — this food is DEFINITELY well seasoned! Everything had so much flavor and tasted fresh and homemade. You can tell they know exactly what they’re doing in that kitchen. The portions were generous, the food came out hot, and the service was friendly and welcoming. Even as someone who didn’t grow up on soul food, I can honestly say this was amazing and full of flavor in every bite. I will definitely be coming back!

I don’t know why I waited so long to try it. That’s my only regret. The food is DELICIOUS. I visited twice recently. First visit I got the Salisbury steak and yams. I didn’t care too much for the steak but the yams were so good I knew I had to give it another shot. Last night I got the baked chicken, macncheese and cabbage. MAN!! THAT. FOOD. WAS. DELICIOUS. And the portion size was so much I get to eat the rest today for dinner. Well worth the money and I can’t wait to keep trying more things on the menu. Yummmmmy!!

First-timer! You will not be disappointed AND I need to speak to the cook/chef OR owner BEACUSE chile’ this is comfort food. This is exactly what I wanted it to taste like. Not too salty, seasoned well. It’s kinda hard to find really good greens like from grandmas cooking….AND so hopefully turkey can be added to the greens! 👀😅 but I’m not complaining.
