Urban Bird Hot Chicken

Amazing food and even better service. The quality of the chicken here is top-tier perfectly fried and not overly greasy, the portions are huge and their 'Mild' is closer to a 'Hot'. I ordered the Nashville Hot and even though I love spicy food, it definitely caught me off guard! It was a little too much 😣 But the waffles were a sweet touch to the spicy flavor. Everything from the pickles to the sauce was 10/10.

Service was great, Summer was super sweet! Restaurant is very clean, restrooms were spotless 👌🏼 Food was really good, as far as the chicken flavors we tried 3. MILD is going to be perfect for almost everyone, just a kick of spicy. The NASHVILLE was obviously more spicy but still enjoyable. The EXTRA HOT, well it's extra hot 🤣 I had a hard time with it and I enjoy extra hot food I personally would not try "fire in the hole"

Update: Feb 14, 2026 I usually come here to get chicken for my family. Today I came here to pickup an order I made online. I paid extra for a large fries but the portion that came with the meal was even smaller than a regular portion. This has been happening for a while now even though I usually don't post publicly about these sorts of things. When this picture was taken my family only ate 3 fries before I was able to snap a picture. Yes I got a discount, but that was cause I used points I earned on previous orders. That is no way an excuse for them to give me less than a regular portion though. Original review: This is great new place that opens late. Came here looking for fresh chicken and that's what I got. It was a boom in your mouth 💥 The crinkle fries were seasoned with a limey flavor and perfectly crispy The smoked elote was crunchy goodness drenched in cream, lime, amd cotija cheese. Food itself was wrong and the service especially at late night is horrible. The only reason I ordered delivery is because they’re people at my house who have Covid and I don’t want to infect anyone. I ordered 2 hours way before closing and they never worked on my order until the DoorDash driver arrived at the restaurant. I have been a loyal customer since they opened in Richmond and I give nothing but the highest praise for that location and their nighttime workers are amazing and hardworking. Sugar Land location on the other hand has the absolute laziest nighttime workers ever. It does not take almost two hours to serve one order of urban fries and a lemonade with the delivery and listened to the instructions. Never order delivery from here.
