Valeries Taco Shop - Ocean Ranch

This Valerie’s Taco Shop is always a solid stop when I’m in SoCal. The carne asada burritos are packed with flavor, and the shrimp ceviche is fresh and hits every time. Service is quick, portions are generous, and it’s one of those reliable spots you can always count on. Definitely a must-visit when you’re in the area.

Let me tell you something—this place is great! Everything tastes amazing, and the service is fast. We got carne asada tacos, crunchy chicken tacos, and rolled tacos—everything was just delicious. I can't wait to try more items here! Plus, the variety of hot sauces is off the charts. Every one of them is delicious! If you like mild, there's mild. If you like hot, there's hot. But no matter the heat level, every sauce has an amazing taste.

Stopped by here late on a Sunday night right before closing. Ordered a Surf & Turf Burrito and a fried fish taco. Sometimes ordering this late at many places will result in a overcooked mess but the burrito was surprisingly good. Plenty of meat & shrimp. The fried fish taco wasn't very crispy but considering I had to bring it home first before eating, that's probably expected. Docked a star for not having correct pricing on the menu. Burrito marked as $10.25 on the board, but it priced at $13.00 on the receipt. Fish taco price was correct.

First time trying their food. Ordered some chicken enchiladas with rice and beans and Watermelon Agua Fresca. I didn't really like the food very much. It was cold to begin with so I had to reheat it and just overall quality wasn't the greatest. The drink was better then the food, too sweet tho.

Good spot for lunch or dinner. Generous portions with great pricing. Their California burritos are excellent. Will be returning
