Val's Coffee Corner

A great, local coffee stand that serves excellent Brazilian coffee drinks. The mocha is one of my favorites in San Diego. The smoothies and small bites they have are also excellent! But the staff is really what makes this place shine. Everyone is very friendly, chatty, and they always make my day when I swing by. I will keep coming back to Val’s Coffee Corner!

There are lots of smoothie options, but I always go with the Green Machine. Fresh fruit and super healthy. I tried the acai bowl for the first time this time, and it was awesome. No need to say much — just go. It’ll make your day.

Very cute place. Good Acai bowl and walnut cake. Little corner for small kids to keep them busy and nice clean outdoor seating. But on the pricey side though.

There’s a small seating area. If you find a spot on the street, you can park there or in a nearby side street. Shade is provided with umbrellas, and each table has its own umbrella too.

My friend and I had a fantastic time at this outdoor coffee shop! She introduced me to it as one of her favorite spots for açaí bowls and coffee and I can see why! I had the pitaya bowl with protein powder and it was delicious. The honey cinnamon latte was perfect. I love that they offer gluten- and dairy-free options. A perfect spot to relax and enjoy great food and coffee!
