Van Gogh's Eeterie

We stumbled upon Van Gogh's Eeterie and it was such a fun surprise. From the moment we walked in, it truly felt like stepping back into the Netherlands. The atmosphere is creative, cozy, and completely unique. You can tell they’ve been intentional about creating an experience, not just a meal. The food was delicious, authentic, and unlike anything else you’ll find around southwest Missouri. I had the raspberry lemon streusel pannokoken, my friend ordered the chicken and waffles, and we shared fries along with a Starry Night cocktail. Everything was fantastic. The flavors were thoughtful and well-executed, and you can tell they take pride in what they serve. A friend and I went around dinner time as it wasn’t busy. No wait for a table. It’s cute and quaint inside. Decaf latte was fabulous. I had a soda and the fizz was perfect not too syrupy. I am not a Mac and cheese fan but I am a sucker for pesto. The Chicken Pesto Mac and Cheese was delicious. It had mushrooms and broccoli as well. Not a fan of cooked mushrooms due to the texture but I ate a few since they were included and they really weren’t that bad to me. The Peace fries were a different kind of taste for me but still very good. A ketchupy kind of curry flavor. Wow! I can’t say enough good things about this place. firstly, the space is bright and sunny and nearly immaculate. tons of decorations and no dust anywhere. the food was incredible, every bite was perfect. the portions are generous and they had a wonderful espresso bar/ tea menu, as well as local kombucha on tap. our server was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. visiting van gogh made our trip to springfield even more memorable and we will definitely return! p.s. the food was so good we forgot to take pictures.

I love the atmosphere and possibilities to spent dinner without screens. Food was good, but not our taste most of what we tried. Appetiser mushrooms were delicious but too hot, and soup was well. Waffle with caramel was good also. The service was incredible!

Eating on the patio in February! Celebrating with my adult daughter with breakfast for dinner!! We started with an appetizer - chicken skewers with peanut dipping sauce. That went so fast, I didn't get a picture!😜 My daughter's meal was gluten-free and dairy-free and delicious! (She had me sample it.) Mine is chicken and waffles with over medium eggs and fruit.
