Vargo's Buffalo Style Pizza

Want to know where not to go? This place. There are better options in this small town, and I’d choose any of them over this one - every time AND that's only after one experience. Let me break it down: We called twice before placing an order. The first time was to ask about a half sheet pizza. The second time, they answered the phone with just “HELLO.” No business name, no professionalism - it threw us off, wondering if we even called the right place. We went ahead and ordered a half sheet and a 17-inch pizza. When I arrived for pickup, they claimed we ordered a full sheet - we absolutely did not. The person behind the counter refused to hear anything else. To make it worse, the toppings were on the wrong sides of both pizzas, and the order was completely wrong. (Noticed after we got it

Small dive Italian serving up fresh baked foods and a simple but favorable all you can eat salad bar. A delicious garlic bread and sweet marinara. And the view at sunset!

In town for the weekend and stopped into Vargo’s for pizza and wings. Absolutely delicious and authentic Buffalo style. So much so that we ate there the next day to try the Subs. They were also incredibly good - and he makes the sub rolls fresh every day. The owner, Robert, is friendly and his staff did a great job. Restaurant is meticulously clean. The view of the river is spectacular. Will come here every time we are in town.

I can tell the owner is really trying. The service from the two younger boys working there was bad. They forgot to start our pizza after 40 mins. It was taking absolutely forever. But there’s a difference between places who know their service is lacking and places who think “Not my problem.” The owner was very apologetic. However at this time be prepared to wait and stick up for yourself to get your order.

The white pizza is literally to die for, cooked to perfection every single time! The home made sub rolls are the next best thing. They are so delicious, I could literally just eat it with butter! The owner is a great guy with an amazing personality and aims to please his customers. I always love to have good conversation when stopping in for the best food in town! Don't hesitate to call vargos. Its my only go to place!
