This is top 5 pizza for me. I ate a whole pie and have zero regrets. Am I lactose intolerant- absolutely. But I couldn’t help it. It was too good and I just kept going. The crust was what makes a pizza and they absolutely nailed it. Perfect thickness, perfect char, and it wasn’t soggy, as some pizza crusts of this style can get. I was told that the folks working this place have been doing it for ages. The colleague I went with has been 18 times in the last 3 years - and he’s from Canada. Make it happen. It’s worth the trip for sure.
A very and truly Italian experience. The pizza is tasty, its dough is well-matured and fermented resulting easy digestion. The pizza has high quality ingredients and a Peroni matches perfect with that. It is located into the Krog market, beautiful location and fast service. Thank you, you brought me back to Italy.
Varuni Napoli has never let me down! The pizza is delicious, fast, and fresh. You can see them assemble and bake it in the Neapolitan style. The ingredient combinations are fairly simple but contain immense flavor. I’ve had many pizzas here, but this time I got the margherita with prosciutto and caramelized onions added. This is possibly my favorite pizza in Atlanta, and is only topped by the Varuni Napoli stand-alone location. I’ve since gone back and added the pizza I got recently!
I am giving a five star to Napoli because of the eggplant Parmesan. I first got it from last year and I spoke about it all year. So many restaurants make eggplant deep-fried, or add so many breadcrumbs that you don’t really taste the eggplant. But here, the eggplant is grilled with very few breadcrumbs and boy is it ever delicious I really know I’m eating eggplant and I love every single bite. The owner‘s name is Gino and he’s super friendly. A must for any lover of eggplant on a tripto Atlanta.
This pizza is delicious. The dough is wonderfully chewy and crust is crunchy! My favorite was the sauce. The right balance of acidity aid the tomato and flavor of the sweet basil. My only regret is I don’t live nearby. The market can be loud so it’s not a place you can sit with friends to eat. That is the only negative for me. But worth a visit.
