Venti's Cafe + Beer Vault

We found ourselves driving through Salem, OR earlier and thus, in need of a spot for a good vegan meal! Well, the vegan gods rained plant based blessings upon us by guiding (some might say .. delivering lol) us to Venti's Cafe & Beer Vault in the charming downtown area of Salem. Upon entering, I first took notice of the whimsical welcoming ambiance inside, sort of reminded me of Chickpea in Vancouver, BC. Also, I had to fight back a smirk when reading about the upcharge for anyone ordering meat based options, I mean it's about time eateries started being vegan by default and adding an upcharge "meat tax" lol instead of the typical vegan-tax we vegans all too often have to incur. Visited here in a large group and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals! There were lots of vegetarians, vegans and gluten free eaters, so it was great to have so many options for us all! I had a Cajun bowl which was pretty good - lots of toppings, tasty tempeh and a generous portion (which I couldn't finish). Would recommend, especially if you have dietary requirements.

We rented the beer vault for an event and I can’t say enough great things about our experience beginning to end. Everyone we interacted with at the restaurant was amazing and great at anticipating our needs and providing extraordinary service. The food was amazing and a great value. Highly recommend for a group gathering or even an evening out.

I’ve been coming here for over a decade and it never gets old! Tons of vegan options. My favorite is the Cajun Bowl. Healthy, fast, and delicious. My go-to spot for downtown dining. I also love that they have outdoor seating to enjoy the sunshine while I eat. Service is always friendly and it’s great to know I’m supporting a local business!

Visiting from out of state and this place is awesome. Great flavors and portion sizes for the price.
