Veracruz Restaurant

So I’ve been to Veracruz once before, to meet up with some friends for some chips and drinks. So I was pleased to do a date night at Veracruz. The atmosphere is like an elevated dining experience with the decorations and with a Latin theme. We started off with the corn dip, which is very good. My wife got the shrimp quesadilla and she loved it. I got the chicken and steak fajitas and I use some of the corn dip to make my tacos. Wow the flavors melted together extremely well. All in all a great dining experience.

Beyond surprised by this quaint and well designed little gem! Friendly and attentive staff. BEAUTIFUL space! We need more locally owned places like this in Baton Rouge. Definitely will be back!

Everyone working there was very nice, professional, and attentive! This place just opened but decided to go here for my friend’s birthday. We enjoyed all that we ate but will be back to try the drinks next time. There was definitely a lot of flavor especially in the fish tacos. The owner came by as well to check in and was friendly!

Amazing, new and unique food for BR! Exciting and exotic flavors! If you are a person who says “La only has fried food” go here! Fresh all around! Ceviche and octopus were so tender. Small lively and bright dining area. Loved it

Chicken quesadilla and pork belly taco were amazing! You have to try the corn dip/salsa, it is really good.
