$6 seriously where else you get real meal for that??? Rice n piece of chicken, n greens n drink! What???? And its flavored. If I could I would come here daily cuz it ain't breaking my bank. Atmosphere got 3 stars only cuz I wanted to eat there and its more of a grab and go spot.

I love Vera's my husband thinks it's crazy how much I love Vera's because I will hardly eat out at any other restaurants or because I love the food and the quality of what I get for my money. My favorite dishes to get here are the honey butter chicken, seasoned rice, cabbage, yams , cornbread and collard greens. I have even had the fish and it was so delicious. The only reason I didn’t make this review a 5 star review is because sometimes when I go, there isn't any cornbread. I haven't tried cornbread that tastes as good as theirs. Also, the waits can be a little long but it's because there is always a line of people ordering multiple meals which tells you the food is delicious. But the food makes the wait worth while. Great customer service. The staff is very nice and welcoming. The food is amazing. I would always recommend the macaroni and cheese and yams a piece of fried chicken. Everything that is pretty good if you’re in the neighborhood I suggest you get some.

Alright so I wish I could leave 0 stars the customer service was rude and rushy when no one was there and regardless it’s my time on the line take your time with the customer and the Mac and cheese noodle is hard like rubber and hella salty told them what pieces I wanted and didn’t get the correct one and the chicken is dryer than the desert rice is just rice no good flavor too it overalll the meal was not it wouldn’t recommend unless you wanna try their sweet tea and lemonade cause that’s the only thing I enjoyed

My 1st time going to this location and my whole family was disappointed. The Mac & cheese was definitely way under cooked when I say hard ass Mac noodles smdh. The staff wasnt as friendly as the staff at the Sutter location, they actually seemed like they ain't wanna be at work. I must add my family and I ate from their Sutter Ave location on a few accusations and the food from that location was great . We had no complaints my family was satisfied so to go to a location that's closer to our home and have the food taste the way it did was a great disappointment. I placed a ordered on doordash 3 $5 dollars and paid over $35 when in the store it no more then $20 smh
