Verde Taqueria

Tucked away in the quiet neighborhood of Peachtree Hills in Atlanta, this restaurant really hit the spot. We had the trio dip (pictured) and then a couple of tacos each. Simple but tasty, would highly recommend.

Came at 8pm on Valentine’s Day and it was awesome! No crowd! Awesome service! Good food! Strong drinks!! I will be back!!!

Verde Taqueria was great!! They're salsa is very good!! We just had quesadillas, I love mine ( steak). My wife though hers was just okay ( that it needed a little more flavor). There are lots of Mexican restaurants in Atlanta, but to be honest I really don't like a lot of. This one is in my top five. I can't tell you exactly where, but the food resonated well to me. Also the service was great. We went early in the day not many people there but the assistant manager who was serving us was really good! I suggested to him they should serve black bean steak chili going forward (I made mine out of my quesadilla side of beans in the salsa..lol). They need to try it it will be a hit!!

Wanted to try the new Verde out, as we've been to Brookhaven location many times. The pluses--The new place is great, we had a great server, Taco's we're great. CON's--The skinny Margarita was soooo small. I attached pictures---looking at the glass, it seemed like a votive holder. I have small hands---I had to stick out my pinky finger, grab with my other 3 fingers not to rub the salt off of the glass with my index finger. I almost said something, but didn't want to be that guy. I checked out Verde's Site (Brookhaven location show's they charge $9 for a skinny--this location is $12). Maybe the menu price is old in Brookhaven--but I was very surprised at the size of the Marg----very noticeably small. Not sure if it's a small glass they are using while opening or ordering more glasses...but

I just got my to-go order at Verde faster than you would in the drive thru at McDonalds. My food came out in 5 minutes. I was in and out in 8 minutes (took a little extra time to finish my marg once the food came out). Amazing. Love this place so much! My friend and I go at least once a week—the service is amazing and the food/drinks are incredible.
