Veterans Pub & Pizza

$16 for a 12” “totinos” pizza. I wouldn’t pay $3 for what I got. I had to come back to this review because I was too upset when I wrote the first review. So let’s start off again. I ordered two medium pizzas. The website said $12 when I got there they were $16. I read the obviously fabricated reviews saying how good the pizza is. Another mistake by me for not looking for pictures first (Mistake 1). The bar is the epitome of a dive bar. Very dirty as a gas station would easily be cleaner. When I got the receipt I was surprised the pizzas cost $32 for 2 mediums. I could have easily got 3 large pizzas from Dominos for the same price and the pizzas would have been edible. Some would probably call this a "dive bar" but the service and atmosphere were the first things that you'll notice. It is... political inside so if you don't want to see that, you probably won't like it. That said, it wasn't talked about & didn't bother us. My family stopped on our way to a concert & we are already talking about driving back some time soon. The pizzas are delicious and our son got a HUGE plate of the spaghetti and meatballs special. He can usually take down a whole serving anywhere but he couldn't finish this! The locals were all friendly too. Our server was so nice, even gave me the special price on domestic drafts ($1!!!). She said that is during certain times but still. You can't get a dollar beer many places anymore. We absolutely couldn't recommend it any higher.

Taco Tuesday was awesome! Soft and hard tacos, full size, filling and Guinness, played pool with friends. Everything was on point.

One of the best pizzas you will find in Peoria. Plenty of fresh toppings. Thin crispy crust. Flavor is solid. The Veggie is my favorite. They will customize to your preference. Yum!
