Vic's Primo Pizza and Restaurant

I have been there twice. The first time was taco Tuesday and the tacos were good. The second time was a few weeks later at lunch time. I ordered a small meat lovers specialty pizza and to be honest it reminded me of a frozen pizza. I took the leftover home and my wife thought so too. The cheese wasn't melted, it was cold in the center and the crust had that frozen pizza taste. That is not good for a place that advertises pizza as a specialty. Prices seemed a bit excessive if you're having drinks with your meal. But, I guess this is true for a lot of restaurants these days. I gave it 3 stars for my one good experience.

Food was above and beyond ! Excellent! Spaghetti and meatballs were the best Y Italian I have had in a LONG time. Children's portion was huge! Had to take half home. The personal pizza was amazing! Do NOT pass this one up! Service was exceptional. Friendly atmosphere.

We ordered a thin crust build your own as they didn’t have any specialty pizzas with pepperoni & sausage & veggies. That was the only downside. Pizza was delicious, lots of cheese. Will definitely go back. We want to try the cracker thin crust next time. We picked up the pizza and brought it to our campground.

Have been there twice. 1st time (Weds. Feb 4) the pizza (Italian thin) was fantastic and probably the best we've had in the Punta Gorda area. Went back a couple weeks later (Sunday evening) and ordered the same pizza and it was probably the worst pizza we've had in the Punta gorda area. Waitress said it must have been the chef.....Will go back on a Wednesday.

The location needs a makeover inside badly! Messy, empty beverage refrigerators practically in the dining area, outdated decor in general, bar area looks old n uninvited. The food was greasy, undercooked and the pizza had an immense amount of thick cheese with all small toppings disappearing under the cheese. Also, the small amount of red sauce was tasteless. The secret for a tasty n flavorful pizza is in the sauce!!!! Asked if they use fresh mushrooms, and the server replied that they use only canned ones!!!!! If you are looking for a delicious pizza pie, this is not the place to go. It was our first time trying the place, since it’s close to our house, but unfortunately we have no plans to return or recommend this location to friends and family visiting; very disappointed.
