Victorian Bakery

The Victorian Bakery is a sweet little spot with really friendly service and a nice variety of baked goods. The people inside are welcoming, and everything I’ve tried here has been fresh and tasty. It’s conveniently right by the Amtrak station, which makes it easy to swing by if you’re traveling through. The only downside is the location - it’s right next to the train tracks, and the surrounding area can feel a bit rough with some not-so-great vibes and homeless people hanging around. I honestly wish this bakery was tucked into a cozier neighborhood, because it really deserves it. That being said, the bakery itself is wonderful. Great baked goods, great people, and worth a visit if you’re nearby.

Heaven on earth, I'm going through lung cancer journey, I talked with my dr.last week, wbc,good,rbc platelets good. Feeling great,but my question to him was,will their ever come a a time ,will you say to me I'll never have to come back for more chemo,he said no. You have to reward, and encourage yourself. This bakery has some delights.I love the German Chocolate cup cake simply delicious.

I can’t say enough good things about the Victorian bakery. From breads to pastries and tea I am in culinary heaven! Maria’s products are a great way to add the extra little something to your meal or as hostess gifts when you’re invited out!

I went there for the first time since I came to Kalamazoo (in 2019). They do not advertise much so this place is easy to overlook. But it was a great decision to visit the place. Everything tasted great (so grateful that all the items had low amount of sugar which is very rare when it comes to American sweets) and very unique. I don’t think any other bakery in Kalamazoo bake as much items as they do. If you are looking to buy some unique items, this place is a must visit. They have coffee but sadly no place to sit inside and eat.

I love this place. Almost everything they have there is fantastic. The food is always fresh the staff there is knowledgeable about their product and very friendly. They try to buy local to help support local business and take the time to actually give back to the community donating bread and other pastries to loaves and fishes. The employees get paid an actual living wage not just $1-2 above minimum wage like most places and they are actually an equal opportunity workplace. If you've never been i definitely suggest it and if u just haven't been in a while I'd stop on by. There are all kinds of new options especially their macaroons which are to die for.
