The pork belly bun xao ($19.80 plus tax) and the crispy tofu skin roll ($10.80) are very tasty. The main drawback of ordering a deep-fried dish is that you lose the crunch as the food steams in the container while in transit. I wish they would bring back dine-in service.
I love their sandwiches, fried rices, and laksa! I always get the pork belly sandwich or the chicken thigh sandwich with a fried rice. The bread is fresh and crispy on the outside. The seasoning is always spot on! Everything is so tasty here. Too bad the dine in option is still not available. Edit 1: I haven’t been back for almost a year. I got the pork belly sandwich (ban mi), and it was still very delicious. Went back yesterday they moved the location to the next door, and now it’s on E89th street. The person at the desk was rude. The portion of the sandwich was clearly smaller than before. The proteins used to be bigger and thicker, and now it was mostly carrots. I’ll keep grading it down if there is no visible improvements. Went back again on 01/30/2026, and the sandwich was much be
Great-quality ingredients, not too oily, and very flexible if you order either on their website or on Toast (love that I can make changes, e.g. no onions).
In my opinion, this place has one of the most flavorful pho broths in the area. The soup base is rich, fragrant, and well-balanced just that comforting depth you look for in pho. I find myself ordering from here often, especially since it’s close to my workplace, and it has become a reliable go to whenever I’m craving pho. The beef is consistently tender, juicy. The noodles always arrive with the right texture. If you're looking for a satisfying, feel-good bowl of pho in the neighborhood, this spot is definitely worth trying.
I've always past Vietnaam Restaurant, but never took a chance to try the food. I finally decided to grab dinner from here a few days ago. Although, most of the restaurant is going through renovations. Customers can still grab takeout. Upon ordering, the food was prepared quickly. I had the Lemon Grass Pork Chop and Grilled Flank Steak. Both dishes tasted great. So, if you haven't tried Vietnamese Food, I would recommend that you try the dishes from Vietnaam.
