Vikki's Fells Point Deli

Excellent food, Thomas is a classical trained chef. Makes his own sausage, soups, pastries. Great selection of Eastern European foods. His red meat sauces are fantastic! Definitely should be a stop at the market.

Not sure where Nikki's is, but when we went a month ago, it was called Sophia's Place, and Chef Thomas served up some of the most amazing Polish food we've had outside of Poland. One counter person there was grumpy and unhelpful, but chef Thomas and the rest of his crew made up for it by being utterly professional and welcoming. We were delighted with the cabbage rolls, perogy, polish sausage, and soup. Everything was so flavorful, from the cabbage perogy with carmalized onion, to the cabbage rolls covered in tangy tomato sauce. We enjoyed dining in, and even found some grocery items we can't usually buy in most US markets. Under Chef Thomas, Sophia's Place, delivered the Eastern European comfort food we love!

Don’t recommend this place. First we ordered our food and it took forever. Don’t know why since only one other person order a single item. Then when we went to sit at the designated seats (waiting for our food) we were asked by the workers to move because only people eating at this stall could sit there. We told her that we were waiting for our order and she didn’t believe us!! Told us to wait till we got our food……… ok. THEN after all that the food was mediocre at best.

Their menu was extensive and affordable, making this place a great option for many different groups. We sat near the location and they brought us our food when it was ready.

My personal favorite deli in Fells Point. Vikkis is cheap, fast and friendly local food. Their chicken salad club is famous and my go to pick. Nothing against Vikki's, but I'm not impressed with the new redesign and layout of the market. Vikki's is a local favorite and will get VERY busy. Before the renovation Vikki's took up the majority of the market and plenty of seats. Now it's cramped in a small corner... totally doesn't do this place justice as it should be the biggest and most prominent business in the market. Regardless, this is a spot for locals and tourists don't come here much (not saying the shouldn't). If you manage your way to Fells Point and need a cheap and quick bite, head to Vikki's.
