Villa Picante Tacos Y Más

This is my favorite Mexican Taqueria in the region- if there is one meal I always want and crave it is their Birria De Res Tacos- it is so good— stewed beef with tortillas crisped with Chili Oil- once you start eating it nothing else exists! Villa Picante stands with the respected taquerias in San Diego- our family did a taco crawl there last summer —when we returned it was a reminder this place holds in the ranks with the best tacos! We are so lucky to have this place in our community- make sure you try their food- everything I have tried is delicious!

Tried their new spot in the Poughkeepsie Galleria today, and got some carnitas tacos. Super friendly, quick service. Tacos were so delicious, the pork was cooked perfectly and was so flavorful. The toppings were very fresh. I’ve been craving LA street tacos lately and this satisfied my craving. My only small qualm, if that, was that the tacos had one tortilla instead of two, but they were corn which I prefer, they were delicious, and they still held up. Plus they gave me four tacos, and I was well fed. So I’m really not complaining. I’ve been wanting a fresh taco spot (or any real food honestly) in the mall for years, and having this place here is glorious. I will eat here every time I’m in the mall now. Looking forward to trying the rest of their menu. (I also did have their Birria onc

i LOVED this place. the restaurant is small but enough seating and very cute. the woman there was so so sweet. we celebrated my brothers birthday and she sent us home with free dessert. SO sweet. service was great and fast and the food was OUTSTANDING. i got the birria tacos and they did not disappoint. the guacamole was so fresh i couldn't stop eating it. i definitely recommend this place. the prices are good, the service was fast. a great spot to grab a quick lunch or really any meal. will be back!

Small business. The waiter multitasks a lot. Be aware of what you order at this restaurant. The BBQ wings were over killed with BBQ sauce after deep fried. I couldn't finish my dinner or drinks. The ice machine needs cleaning, there are small particles floating in my drink.

Excellent atmosphere. Feels like a true Mexican restaurant. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Ordered flautas, chips and guac. Stuffed jalapenos. Everything was great. Fresh. Even the chips were still hot. Best Mexican food I've had in Dutchess county.
