Villa Taco

1st visit, and it won't be my last. The 2 staff members were awesome. Rosalina was spectacular. $2 taco Tuesday...🫴🏾🎩's off, I loved the flavor, it was hot and fresh, and did 🚫 disappoint. The beautiful art on the outside of the building was stunning, so colorful and definitely contributed to the vibes. Outdoor seating was available, as well as indoor seating, at the Hemp & Tea Co nextdoor. Very decently priced, great menu options and the "add-ons" were🤌🏾... Nano-drops☺️. Happy hour is M-F between 2PM-5PM. Totally added to My ' 'favorites' list✅💫

This was my first time trying Villa Tacos and it did not disappoint. The girl at the window was very kind and took the time to answer all of our questions and the tacos came out hot and flavorful. We got the Campechano, Barbacoa, Shrimp, Al Pastor and Asada. My personal favorite was the Campechano but every taco was so good. They have an awesome Taco Tuesday special where you can’t get the Tacos for $2 each. Even though this place is take out only they invite you to take your Tacos around the corner into the Dispensary they share a building with. Can’t wait to come back!

Glad I finally tried this place… the asada burrito I ordered takeout for lunch was delicious. It was hot and fresh when I picked it up. I don’t know why others are saying it’s bland since I really enjoyed the flavors. I normally put hot sauce on everything but I didn’t with this — I only used the red and green salsa that was included. One of my favorite burritos in Charlotte! The only downside is that the burrito was wrapped a little sloppily, but i’ll gladly take a delicious, sloppy burrito over a bland, neatly wrapped one. Also, this might have been because I added beans. Would love if they added corn as a topping! I’m planning to go back to try the tacos, birria, and tortas. Employees were friendly. Highly recommend trying this place for yourself.

Highly recommend! The restaurant is very clean and welcoming, and I love that they offer lettuce wrap options along with flour and corn tortillas. I also really appreciate that they double up on the tortillas so the tacos don’t fall apart — something many places overlook. The staff was professional and friendly, and the food was fresh and flavorful. The rice was excellent too — perfectly seasoned and not overly salty (which is rare for many Mexican spots). Excited to come back soon and try their Taco Tuesday deals!

My boyfriend and I just got lunch from here and it was SO DAMN GOOD! We’ve been in Charlotte for 3 years now, having moved from Los Angeles. It’s been a struggle for us to find more authentic Mexican food and this is the spot!! So happy they’re finally open! And within walking distance from where we live! As soon as we walked up we were very kindly greeted and helped right away! I got a barbacoa and pollo taco, both with corn tortillas. Served with cilantro and onion, and a pickled slaw on the side. Came with two salsas and a lime. My boyfriend got a chorizo quesadilla, also served with salsas, slaw and a lime. Cannot wait to go back! Photos for prices and items!
