Vinason Pho Kitchen - South Lake Union Seattle

One thing I didn't expect is to be offered a bowl of pho to dip the bahn mi in - for just two extra dollars. I've never seen this offered before at a Vietnamese restaurant - even ones that serve both pho and bahn mi. I am glad to report that this bahn mi was surprisingly good - and that starts with the bread. This baguette was excellent. A lot of times you run into the issue where the bread is too hard and too chewy, but they did a great job here making it fresh. This felt crunchy and flaky on the outside, but surprisingly soft on the inside. The ratio of the toppings was also very nice. The mayo was spread well and creamy, and the vegetables added up to taste pretty good. The pork was a little less good. Cockroach found in my vermicelli bowl and chili oil had mold - not sure how this place is still open and passing health inspections Edit: Called the restaurant asking for a refund and was only met with “Oh okay” and then the phone hanging up. No apology at all. Would give this place -5 if possible.

Fresh Broth and Perfect Portion ! So flavourful . I had the vegan one with tofu and worth the price ! I will definitely visit again ❤️

They dont have enough space to support the volume of orders. I hear the microwave going constantly. The time from order to actually getting the food is a longgggg time. 45+ minutes. Even if you order as soon as they open. The foods delicious other then the fact they charge 4 dollars extra to add a few pieces of broccoli and carrots to your bowl. They should probably open earlier to give them time to actually prep. They try, but the location and resources arent setting them up for success
