Vinings Library

Fantastic library. Friendly staff and a bunch of VEGAN books which makes the wife the happy. Wheelchair access (elevator) and floor plugs under the table are very beneficial.

On a random Wednesday night I popped in to ask about a pretty specific research topic, not thinking there’d be too much material. Au contraire. One of the librarians (didn’t catch her name) took me through the available online resources, showed me how to find relevant keywords, and helped me located within a few minutes the most perfect resource. They didn’t have a copy and it was almost $100 on Amazon, but she helped me find a digitized version for free! Really was incredible, never had a librarian be so helpful. Who says small libraries can’t do big things?!? ;)

It was small but beautiful. Chairs are wooden so can't sit and read for long time.

For the most part, this is a great little library I have been going to for years. But the book selection is slim and you could wait literally 4 to 5 months to get a best seller. For the most part, the librarians are accommodating but the manager really never goes the extra mile to accommodate people or suggestions.

At the Vinings Library I had a fantastic experience with Mrs. Gurbet Evsel who did an exceptional service with an important deadline for the next day and achieved my deadline goal with in only 5 minutes. I will return and tell others about my wonderful experience with her and with her wonderful team. Thanks again Ms. Gurbet for your patience and service.
