Vinny Vanucchi's Little Italy

This charming restaurant in Dubuque is just a 20-minute drive from downtown Galena. We visited on Valentine’s Day and were able to get in and out swiftly. I’m a big fan of table service, and the staff here was friendly and attentive. The food arrived promptly, and it was all incredibly flavorful. I highly recommend the chicken parmigiana; it was a standout dish. The dessert was equally delightful, especially the cannoli. The prices are reasonable considering the generous portions. The restaurant is also very clean, and there’s ample parking available in the front and a large lot on the side.

We were so excited to try this restaurant. The decor and the reviews are what caught my eye. Well the decor was the best part and that is where it ends. The staff was friendly and attentive but the food had no taste and the pasta was overcooked. Being from NY/NJ I’m pretty picky and this place was not good.

It was my first night in Dubuque and my friends and I was craving some chicken parmigiana, so where else would we go than Vinny’s. One of my friends is gluten free, thankfully Vinny’s offers a full gluten free menu and it did not disappoint. The service was great, ambience brought me back to an Italian grandmothers house, and the food delighted my taste buds.

Highly recommend this great place awesome server Mia! The food is absolutely awesome. I had the seafood rigatoni, which was simply amazing, and the tiramisu is out of this world. The atmosphere was so much fun. Don't miss the fried ravioli appetizer and their Buffalo Trace Old Fashioned—both were excellent!

Such a nice atmosphere and great food! The garlic bread is amazing and the house sangria is my favorite. Worth every penny. Great service as well.
