Violet's From Jamaica with Love

Ohhh myyy gawwwwddd!! I was looking for a place to get my oxtails, now that I moved to North Jersey, and "Violet's" happened!! The oxtails practically melt in your mouth! The rice and peas, cabbage, and plantains were seasoned perfectly. This is just what I was looking for. I will most definitely be a constant return customer! COOKIE

We were greeted upon entrance with wide smiles. I had the oxtails that were delicious 😋 we also tried the jerked garlic wings and honey garlic chicken. Those meals came with rice, veggies and we got a bit of yams .. everything was delicious 🤤

Love Violet's and have been coming here since it opened. My favorite for beef patties, oxtail and rice and peas. However, I feel like their hidden star of the show is the spinach rice. It is delicious, perfectly seasoned, but not available the entire week, so I look forward getting it on Thursdays/Fridays. I feel so lucky to have Jamaican food this delicious this close to me.

I live in California and when I come to Jersey, this is my go to spot, my parents also LOVE their oxtails. The food is amazing and the service matches it. The lady at the counter Cadeem, is super pleasant and accommodating. I will 100% continue to eat here any chance I get!

Idk what all these other reviews are talking about but this food was hittin😋. Especially the oxtail.. I came from Brooklyn... I googled the closest oxtail spots next to me and this place popped up. I went to it because I saw a picture where they had a whole plate of rice and oxtail and it looks so good and baby when I got my meal they did not disappoint 💯💯 It taste so juicy and tender. The small meals look like large and a large meals look like extra large. Definitely going back 💪🏾🤎😊
