Viva Cancun

I had the enchiladas rojas (red enchiladas) with the deep fried ice cream for dessert, and couldn't finish the whole dish because there was so much! I added on the green molle (but I was told there was spicer sauce so I'll have to ask for that next time), and the chicken was tender, the sauce flavourful, and the enchiladas very cheesy. My husband got the barbacoa tacos and they were very tasty, though hoping next time the meat is a bit more tender. The staff is attentive and has suggestions if it's your first time eating Mexican food, and the atmosphere is welcoming. We arrived just before the Saturday evening mealtime started and ate at the bar top. We're looking forward to coming back to Viva Cancun to try more of the dishes.

We were so disappointed with our experience at Viva Cancun! The atmosphere and decor are awesome! The service was great! The food was awful! We had chips and pico de gallo for an appetizer. The pico de gallo was just chopped tomatoes and onions, no cilantro or jalapeños. The tomatoes tasted fishy, like it had been cross contaminated with some seafood. The barbacoa tacos fell apart instantly because of thin, disintegrating tortillas even though the beef was overcooked and dry. The tomato based salsas that came with the tacos also tasted fishy. My wife's veggie tacos were not great either. Ordered a side of rice and was served a microwaved bowl of white rice with a weird vinegary taste. The margarita had maybe a drop of tequila in it. We are hoping they just had an off night due to them only

My sister and I had heard if this new place by chance and we love to support our local businesses. The atmosphere is vibrant and fun! The staff and service are top notch 👌 and very attentive. Answered any questions we had and checked in on us regularly! The food was banging. I had the birria tacos and the loaded fries. Some of the freshest and most delicious guacamole I've had. Mind you they just opened last week and may need to work out some of the new business kinks. But overall our experience was a 10/10. Will definitely be back. Such a great addition to our little town!

Very good authentic Mexican food! Can't wait to go back! Everything we ordered was amazing. The server was friendly and went above and beyond for us.

They need a liquor permit. Food was good, plain, sauces were so-so, food looked precooked and reheated on skillet, salsa was diced tomatoes.
