This place makes the best baklava I have ever had in my life. Although I am not Middle Eastern, I lived most of my life in the Chicago area amongst many Greeks! So I consider myself a baklava connoisseur. They do the most beautiful cakes, and are so accommodating and flexible with preparing orders on the spur of the moment.

Vrej Pastry is a gem in Pasadena, owned by a wonderful Lebanese couple who came to the U.S. to pursue the American dream. Vrej, who comes from a family of bakers, has brought his passion and expertise to create an array of delicious Armenian and Middle Eastern pastries. The variety at Vrej Pastry is impressive, with a selection that includes everything from traditional baklava to delightful cakes. Among their offerings, the tiramisu cake stands out as an absolute favorite—it’s creamy, rich, and perfect for any occasion. We often pick up pastries and cakes from here for our parties, and they’re always a hit with our guests. Got the tiramisu cake for my honeys 50th bday. Place looks legit. I came late in the day so I think they were out of some items. People were nice and they won some awards. Good stuff

I'm very nice Armenian bakery. Prices are little high but definitely tasty treats.
