Tried this little waffle house in Ennis. Seems to be a little smaller than the ones I've been to, but maybe it's just me. The service and the food was great. The staff there is like a well-oiled machine. Everyone knows what they are doing. They were quick with the food. This was a busy place. Lots of people eating and waiting to eat.
We absolutely love coming to Waffle House. Irene is the reason—we always ask for her! She remembers our drinks and orders, is always smiling, and gives the BEST service. She truly makes every visit feel special.
Staff is a machine, place was packed and it didn't even take long to get our breakfast despite how busy it was. Very friendly staff, welcomed with a greeting from the moment we walked in and gave our order to a really nice lady who made sure we were well served. Been to a few Waffle Houses and this might be the best.
I ordered the steak meal but got it done well. I was afraid it would make me sick otherwise. It’s Waffle House… Food came and the steak didn’t look and taste fresh. The texture of the steak was rubbery. I ate it anyway, because that was the only place that was open late and I was super hungry. I came back to the hotel and my stomach didn’t settle well. I should just have gotten the eggs and hash-browns, be hard to screw that up…
Melissa, our waitress, was super nice. She even gave all our children waffle house hats. 5/5, will be visiting again!
