Wally's Bagels

Wally’s is a gem, one I’m sure locals would like to keep for themselves. Not only were the bagels top tier but the prices really won’t be beat anywhere. One of the best salt bagels I’ve had.

Small bagel shop, grab and go. Bagels fresh, like be out the door but goes quick. $5 for bagel w cream cheese. No need to say extra cream cheese, they know. Got a pumpkin bagel, tasted the pumpkin, it delivered. Always a fan of this place. Rainbow bagel with confetti cream cheese was a bit sweet but still good.

I hate to write a review like this, because my family loves, and often raves about, Wally’s Bagels. This morning, I placed a very simple online order for pickup: an egg everything bagel with scallion cream cheese, lightly toasted. This cost $5.44 with tax, which is absolutely insane, but I was willing to pay it because Wally’s has always been great. Once I arrived at the store, I received a message that my order was ready, so I went in to pick it up and drove home. As soon as I got home and went to open my bagel, I noticed something odd- there was nothing on it (or so it seemed). Just a sliced bagel, but no cream cheese. In a town where there's a bagel shop on seemingly every corner, this place stands out amongst the rest. Top 3 egg sandwiches on Long Island in my opinion. Just like everywhere else, prices have gone up, so there's nothing cheap about this place, but more often than not I finish my sandwich with a smile. It's certainly not like that everywhere. I highly recommend.

This look good to you? This looks like some jail food. I had a simple egg cheese salt & pepper on a roll. Why does it look like I ordered a cold deli sandwich. Been coming for 5+ years. I'm done.
