Wasabi at Porter

I have purchased take out from this restaurant before and it was passable. However, the most recent order from here was inedible. I have attached a photo of the House Roll, which had stale sweet potato that looked and tasted terrible. Everything tasted like it had gone past its expiration date. I will be requesting a refund and likely not returning.

We have ordered takeout from Wasabi multiple times a month for years, and the food is consistently delicious and high quality. The rice is tender, fish is fresh, tempura is crunchy and not greasy, avocado is perfectly ripe, spicy rolls are not overly stuffed with panko. We used to live down the road, but even after moving 15min away we can’t find any place that beats Wasabi - it remains our go to!

When I saw the reviews for Wasabi at Porter I assumed they hired bots... They did NOT hire bots. They are THAT good!!!!!!!! The food was amazing, and the tiny metal tray (for soy/wasabi) was a nice touch! This place deserves their 5-stars! New Customer = Regular Customer Now!

Great takeout sushi - they are busy but very attentive. Sushi was very fresh and tasty with good portions. Cheaper than many other sushi places in Cambridge, at least for more basic rolls that we ordered. TAKEOUT ONLY

Have been twice now and tried the salmon don and the makimono lunch with salmon avocado, spicy tuna, and shrimp tempura rolls. The portions are generous and everything has been fresh and well made. It’s a great spot for a reasonable sushi takeout.
