Watertown Department of Public Works

I just want to say a big thank you to the DPW and the Tree Warden for taking care of this problem tree and we're looking forward to getting our replacement tree in September. The company that does this removal work for the town did it in a very fast and efficient manner and they cleaned up pretty good after they were done.

went in after calling multiple times and never receiving a call back. purchased a meter and told desk clerk multiple times what size i need and after that was confirmed and then PAID for i called to have it installed.... once again no answer and no call back had to call multiple times and was told oh we don't actually sell that size and i would have to wait to be refunded and then call some one else!!! what a joke of a department!!!!

Notices for work being done a vague and inconsistent. Work is always done late, rescheduled, canceled, etc. The staff is hit or miss. Some of them are really nice, the woman I spoke to today however was horrendously rude and offered no useful info, and did not even apologize for the fact that the notices sent from this department are misleading at best.

Lazy and Disrespectful people run this department. It is a shame since we live in this beautiful area. Maybe they should get their act together and start helping the community and stop using COVID as an excuse

Called for removal of dead rabbit on a Saturday, it was removed within the hour. Thank you DPW Watertown👏👏👏👏
