Wayne County Public Library

My experience was amazing!! I asked the librarian at the children's reference desk for help finding a book that I read when I was a child, from over 20 years ago, and I didn't give her much info to go off of 🙏. Nonetheless, she found it and I was able to enjoy reading it once again!! God is good 👍.

Second time in library &wanted to get a card as I went up on to get my library card I was told by the front desk that no escooters are allowed and she had a very nasty attitude, as I asked who was management or who was above her approximate round 210 to 220 pm Feb 14, was very polite I was approached by an officer in there that didn't believe in the First Amendment, as I asked her who was management there so I can know the politics of bringing in in e-scooter cuz I usually take it everywhere and multiple places and there's usually no problem exercising free speech and was told that I will be trespassed if I kept talking which is my first amendment upon that notice I went back in there to confirm if I was banned or just trespassed, the day officer was pretty polite but didn't what's acknowl

Except for the pack-laden wayfarers and stranger barging in my reserved meeting room to tell me to "Repent the day of the Lord is coming," it was a nice enough experience.

3-3-23 Excellent library and has a central location in Goldsboro. This location has computer access, public records, movies/TV series, magazines, printing/copy capabilities, etc. Very large children's section too. Overall, I think the selection here is ok probably for the area but not the largest selection I have seen at a library. I like the garden outside and this is my favorite aspect of the library. I spoke with an employee at the garden and received details of "goings-on" which seem numerous. Mostly children-related happenings. The staff was friendly and helpful. They seem to enjoy their job.

I always have a great experience at the library. The librarians are helpful, respectful, and knowledgeable.
