We Be Poppin Lakewood Park

I love this place, it definitely deserves more than 5 stars. There young woman serving me and my sons was professional, kind, and very informative about all they had to offer. I tried the freshly squeezed lemonade with mango flavoring and The Boston Terrier hotdog both were 10 out of 10…. (pictured below). It’s definitely a Diamond in the Ruff

Great ice cream place! Was recommended to us and we decided to try it and they didn’t disappoint. We’ve ordered their banana split and an ice cream with a name that we couldn’t remember lol but they were DELICIOUS! They also have a picnic style sitting area outside to enjoy your sweet treats! Give them a try and you won’t regret that you’re stopping by. AWESOME crews as well! They were so polite and nice to us!

I’ve been a frequent flyer of We Be Poppin’ at the location that unfortunately closed a couple of months ago. We loved that spot, so yesterday I decided to make the drive out to the Lakewood Park location with my family of five. Unfortunately, it was clear as soon as we walked in that this experience would not compare to what we were used to. The two girls working—one with braids and the other with blonde hair—looked visibly bothered the moment they saw how many of us walked in. As we headed over to look at the available flavors, two kids entered the store, and the girl with braids greeted them in a way that was shockingly rude. We visited this establishment for the first time this evening. Employee A was happy and was new to the business. I asked if they had chocolate dipped cones. Employee B spoke up and said they did. So employee A tried her best to dip the cone, but the chocolate kept running off. Employee B did not try to help. I suggested that they just put the whole thing in a bowl and drizzle hot fudge on it, and that would suffice. Employee B rang me up and charged me for the failed chocolate dip AND the hot fudge, then left the register for the new employee (Employee A) to take the payment. She left employee A trying to explain why employee B charged me for both toppings. Employee B did not seem to be in the good mood that we were so used to at the other location, but come to find out, that was a differe

It's in a well dislocated spot but if you aren't paying attention you'll pay right back it- The customer service was pleasant, chill and very welcoming.
