Weed Community Pool

We absolutely love our community pool and take advantage of it all summer long. Loads of fun for the whole family, diving boards, shaded benches, showers and a perfect toddler pool for the younger, developing swimmers!

Nice pool to cool off in on a hot day. We went here last time we we're in Shasta. It has life guards, a diving board in the 12' section, a 3 -5' section and a separate 2' kiddie pool. Closes at 4pm and cost $2 per person to enter.

Today was for the child abuse awareness month and everything and everyone was great there were bounce houses,arts and crafts, raffles,food &drinks, there was one person showing his reptiles another showing off their dwarf goats and I had the privilege to help show a couple of Alpacas. The best thing about the whole day was watch the kids laughing and play and seeing there faces really brighten up when they got to meet and feed the animals. Awesome day

I have had two of my three children take summer lessons at this pool. Each time they go, the first week looks really good; the teachers are focused and enjoying teaching and the kids are having a good time and learning a lot. However, for some reason the second week of the swim lessons the teachers become very impatient, spaced out, and even making fun of the kids to each other. Every time (I've bought three lessons three years in a row) it seems that at some point the teachers just "check out". Today my son was having a hard time learning to breathe out through his nose under water, (he is 5) and was instead sucking in water and spitting it out when he came up. Rather than taking the time to pull him aside and teach him, the two teenage male teachers were showing disgust and making fun of

The staff helped take my child from a kid who swam like a rock to a kid who loves jumping from the diving board and knows two different swimming strokes. The water is cool and clear. The surrounding grounds are well cared for, clean, and in good repair. This is a genuine community place and someplace my family loves to relax during the warmest days of summer.
