Wendy's

I love the food, fair prices, great app, and the restaurant is new and generally clean. My only complaint is that the service is almost always slow, sometimes amazingly, mind-bending, universe-altering slow. And I don't think it's the people; it's got to be the process. I say this because no matter whose on staff or what time of day, it's slow. That's not a people problem; there's something wrong with how everyone has to get the food ready. I also worked fast food for 5 years when I was younger. Your people aren't moving slow; I know a slow fast food employee as a previous supervisor. No, there's something wrong with how they have to go about it. So, I love you Wendy's of Macon, but please hear me: I just can't risk going here if I'm in a hurry. It’s a nice place, ive been there a few times and usually leave satisfied. I recently ordered DoorDash and unfortunately got a burger that was pink.

I order a 3 piece chicken tender and this is what I got. When I called and asked a replacement all he said was okay and hung up on me.

I’m just tired of every time which is not often we have to wait almost 20 mins for our food. It’s the same way at Moberly Wendy’s. Honestly if these places can’t stay staffed just close them down. Food places should also know when sports tournaments are happening and prepare for a large influx of people. Plan accordingly…

Overall they were trying and I will be back but clearly on the day I stopped they were overwhelmed and had a light customer load when I stopped. It seemed there was only one person working window, taking orders, and getting food out to backed up cars. The worker was apologetic from the start which make appreciate her trying to keep things moving. Not sure the situation in the store but she had some struggles. She didnt give up just took some extra time.
