West Chester University

I would only recommend attending this school if you are planning to be a commuter and maybe not even that. After your freshman year at WCU, campus housing becomes a lottery. They quite literally used the word "lottery" when my friends were denied a place to live. They have more students than beds, and parking spaces. Shuttle buses are very unreliable, take long to get there, then have little to no room on them. Then if you try and drive yourself instead of the shuttle, good luck finding a parking space. You get ticketed if you park somewhere for just a few mins even if your hazards are on. I am a second year at WCU and I live in the East Village apartments. There are four people to an apartment and each of us are charged $1400+ in rent per month. That is a total of $13,112 per person for a

My daughter is a freshman and having the best, most rewarding and balanced experience. It is the perfect blend of good academics and a good social scene. She is being challenged and meeting with success. In addition, she loves her dorm, the food is ok, the people are great and the area is gorgeous. Walking into town is a favorite as it breaks up the week and provides something else to do! Would recommend WCU 10/10!!!

It's a big campus stretched out over almost 1/2 of West Chester. The students overall are there to learn. I go there for testing for my real estate career. The people at the testing center are very positive and encouraging. It's a good place to get an education.

small and nice area. there are many restaurants. You can find different types of food. The campus is green and clean. Nice place to walk or jugging. there are public restroom. there are public parking lot.

As a former student who majored in biology and minored in chemistry, I would say that this university is undercutting its students in the quality of education being provided. Throughout my time here, absolutely zero textbooks were utilized besides on the more challenging chemistries. Professors should require students read the text and base the test off of the read material, not just their own slides. The only thing about this school that I absolutely loved, was the sheer amount of blonde baddies that I was introduced to. Student party life is unmatched but education is below average.
