YES 🙌🏾 This food is incredible! Wow. I got the vegan platter which was curried veggies and rice with plantains and at first I was unsure because of the price ($20), but after eating it I would spend it again because it’s that good. Everything was SO flavorful and went so well together. I’m still thinking about those plantains…And I don’t know what was going on in the rice because it looked regular but it was so not regular 🤩 Thank you for such amazing food and friendly service! (Side note: this is a carry-out only joint.)
I hate where it is located, but this place is delicious. The jerk chicken with BBQ sauce is my favorite. The rice is delicious. The ribs were on point. The service is excellent. Loved it!!!. If you try it at the State Fair, you must come to the restaurant. I have to come back and try other stuff.
The first time i went there (a few months ago), i dined in on a weekday. The food (oxtails), service and atmosphere were 5 stars. The 2nd order (a few days ago) was delivered. It was a Saturday. The food (oxtails, cabbage, plantains) was dry and not so fresh and delicious as first time. Plantain were fresh and delicious though. Oxtails and cabbage dry and disappointing... maybe a few days old and passing the old food off on delivery orders ???
It’s hard to find quality Caribbean food in MN. This place warmed my heart and the food made me miss my mama’s cooking. Oxtail was juicy with plenty of collagen. I received roughly 4-5 large pieces of stewed oxtail along with red beans and rice and plantain all for around $25! Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. This place deserves all the love. 🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹
I was very excited going here because of reviews I seen on the food; specifically the oxtail. However I’m sad to say I wasted my money, the rice and peas were really good and the cabbage was standard. However my oxtails were tough and pretty much inedible I’m disappointed and out of $27.
