West Main Diner

Haven't been there in a couple years and wanted to get breakfast while my kids had off from school. Their (the kids) food was great and good portions but mine had something to be desired. The breakfast potatoes were way overcooked. Eggs were good. However, my fault on ordering scrapple though. I didn't look at the prices well enough. Nonetheless, it was 5.00 for one very thin slice about the size of an index card but was like the 1/3 the thickness of a slice of bread. And 5 for a glass of OJ. I know costs have gone up but that was excessive for the amount given even with that in mind. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the place was nice and clean. Unfortunately it was probably our last visit.

it was closed when we went and I have to say I was extremely disappointed. However, it was a holiday so I get it, but this is one of my favorite diners. I will drive almost an hour to get there the staff and food and just the genre of the place is what you think a diner should be. Highly recommend if you’re anywhere in the area check it out.

Can't ask for more at such a fair price this restaurant offers, super friendly staff, unexpectedly good service and quality of food (the nicest bagel I've ever had) and cozy environment. My husband and I will probably go there for a weekly brunch to get ourselves refreshed by the nice people and food we find in West Main Diner! Superb!

I love it here. It's my new favorite place. A friendly neighborhood place with great food and baked goods. Clean and pleasant. Down home atmosphere.

Well my husband enjoyed his food anyway. I guess that is something. I ordered a "breakfast special" blueberry cheesecake stuffed French toast. Cost was $14.00. Let me tell you what I got. 2 pieces of dry cinnamon toast with some cold philly cream cheese pre made cheesecake stuff slathered on top with a drizzle of some thin purple syrup stuff on top. It might have seen a blueberry once in a past life. It tasted slightly sour and rancid. Needless to say I ate 1 bite, then tired a bite of sausage. It too tasted a bit off so I just drowned it in maple syrup and ate that. The restaurant was dirty feeling. Ceiling tiles were stained, carpet looked like it had been there since at least the 80's.
