West Valley Library

This is not a library so much as a social meeting hall. It doesnt matter what time of the day or night you come, there are people having loud conversations, kids running all over the place and numerous times when I've needed to work on the computers I've ended up leaving to go to another library out of my way. There are kids and adults playing games on the computer against other people because you can hear their converation on the phone as they are playing together. Dont expect the staff to do much about it. They are perfectly fine sitting at their desk chit chatting with eachother. If your planning on coming to this library to study, dont. If your looking to go somewhere hang out and socialize this is the place.

Love the library 💕... It doesn't get much love these days but my kids love to come here to check out books or my little one likes the play area 😀 😊

I have tried calling the West Valley Library four times over the past two weeks to pick up I a book I have on hold and the line doesn't even ring. Why am I calling? Because the last two times I visited the library, they closed at 2pm "due to heat". This was really frustrating since it takes me 40 minutes to get here since I don't have a car. I know this is a really nice library, so I hate to leave a bad review, but this poor administration is really frustrating to deal with. There is nowhere to learn about any changes to the hours of the library online or by phone

We visited the library today for their monthly Pokemon Go Club meeting and it was so much fun! My kids enjoyed it a lot! We checked out a few books after we were done. They have a great selection of books for all ages. The librarian, Jonathan, was very kind and helpful throughout the event and even told us about other events such as bilingual reading nights for kids. We’ll be back to check out more books and hopefully to some of their future events.
