Westville Seafood

The food was great! The onion rings were tasty as were the clams! I think I've found a new Seafood place to fill the void which Jimmie's has left behind. The only drawbacks were the parking and it's in a neighborhood that is less than inviting.

Great little place for fried seafood and hot dogs. You can get 2 foot long HUMMEL hotdogs with fries, a drink and Cole slaw for $12. That’s about about $7 cheaper than Frankie’s and these hot dogs are grilled over flames instead of fried. They have a seafood platter for $30 and for an extra $5 you can switch from clam strips to whole bellies which is what I did and was totally worth the extra $5. There were so many whole bellies, it was ridiculous. The fried shrimp are cooked perfectly and the scallops are super flavorful and juicy albeit just a teeny bit too salty. The fish was cooked really well too although that’s not really my thing but I will say the breading on it was thin, crispy and delicious. Been going here for years and yet to find something better this close. You definitely get a bang for your buck. Cove beach grill can't compete. I especially like the red hots here👍🏿

Our first visit was Sunday in January 2024 for lunch. We ordered a fish and chips dinner and a fish sandwich. The order came up quick and hot. The staff was very friendly to us. We really enjoyed the meal. Came back at the end of April and it was still great.

Let's talk about it. I've been going here for a least 10 years or more. The food is always great, but not this time. Maybe I messed up because I never got the fish, and I shouldn't have changed up. Everything was gppd except for the fish. There was too much batter, and it fell off. Batter shouldn't be falling off the fish at all. I was so mad I gave it away. I will definitely go back. I just won't be eating the fish....smh
