Wetzel's Pretzels

Ernesto did a wonderful job personalizing the service for our pretzel purchase! He was very kind and patient and knew his products and gave us recommendations. The pretzels were good and the line was very short. It's nice to get an old-time pretzel you don't get fresh ones very often anymore.

Brutal service from Alejandra B.: She left the counter for three times, without assisting and explaining about the product they have in front. Zero smile. Refused to give a free tap water to children. Rude, unpleasant, disrespectful.

I just experienced a flagrant health code violation at this store. The service isn’t awful, but definitely isn’t great, they frequently close early with no sign, just a locked door, and good luck if you want a cheese pretzel because they don’t prepare them in advance and you’ll have to wait 10-15 minutes, but none of that prompted me to post a review before. I asked for a cheese pretzel. After quite a bit of back-and-forth with the cashier to explain that, no, I don’t want a pretzel with cheese dipping sauce, I want a pretzel that actually has cheese on it, and being told that it would be at least a 10-minute wait, I decided to just get a plain pretzel. She handed it to me in a to-go bat without asking, so I had to hand the now-used bag back to her to throw out - so wasteful! I’m so used

The young cashier girl was very rude and impatient, she didn’t know how to listen and how to talk with customer. It was the worst experience I ever had with Wetzel Pretzel stores in past years! She definitely needs some training for the job or she needs to find another job.

I’ve gone to the Stanford location a couple of times because it’s close. I like the cheese and jalapeño. This is a pretzel that they don’t make when I ask it’s as if I am brother the staff. The cashier is both taking payments and prepping the orders. When I visit the Hillsdale store they have jalapeño ready to go.
