About Whataburger
Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers... More

Nice clean new location. Meal prices start around $10. Didn’t see any burger deals, maybe you have to get the kids meal to get a deal. The burger was well seasoned. The fries are like shoestring fries in which I prefer a thicker cut. Everything was hot and fresh tasting. I like the lettuce, tomato and onions with extra pickles on my burger. I feel like you don’t get full anymore from eating a burger meal. Maybe I should’ve gotten two patties or three patties. Not a lot of variety other than more patties, add bacon or jalapeño or cheese. You can do the same thing with chicken sandwiches here and they do have decent milkshakes. I’m sure the kids will love it here and the burger was fair tasting. A big adult like myself may have to order two meals to feel it-in which case if you can spend Clo
The place was clean. I asked two different employees for help, but both said they didn’t understand what I was asking and kept directing me to each other. Eventually, a staff member wearing a blue T-shirt helped me. He understood what I meant immediately and was truly helpful, solution-oriented, and attentive. However, I can’t say the same for the other employees—especially a female employee wearing a black sweatshirt and one male employee. Their level of assistance and knowledge was insufficient. The food was genuinely fresh and served hot. Overall, I would recommend this place, but I believe the staff—aside from a few exceptions—needs better training.
Charity at Whataburger was great. Professional, respectful, and honestly too good for that place. She was NOT the problem. The service was. I drove over 30 minutes, paid almost $16, and clearly asked for no salt on my fries and a fresh burger. Instead, I got stale, salty fries and a burger that was clearly reheated. The restaurant wasn’t busy, and I had already waited over 20 minutes. I allowed them to remake the fries, but I refused to wait another 15 minutes for a burger when I KNOW Charity told them to make it fresh. The manager was kind and offered a remake, but at that point the disrespect had already happened. Serving reheated food when a customer asks for fresh is lazy and unacceptable. Wasting people’s time is infuriating. The employees working 12/29/25 around 8:45 PM need to be
My bride and I had eaten here on an earlier trip to South Georgia (from Villa Rica) with a very good experience, impressed with the service, as well as the quality (and taste) of the food. This time, however, although the staff was still great, we found the quality of the food had declined. My wife's burger patties were "hard as a rock" and her bun seemed like it had been out a while (not fresh). I tasted her patty and totally agreed with her comment. We finished our meal, and I discussed our visit with the manager. I don't think this experience will deter a future visit to this franchise while traveling in an area they inhabit. One thing worth mentioning is this location had a very wide selection to choose from and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
The drive-through is a nice size and easy to navigate, which was a plus as we have a truck. The cashier greeted us warmly and even apologized for the wait, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill once we got the food. The soda was very flat and tasted watered down. The fries and onion rings seemed old or possibly fried in old grease, and the burgers lacked flavor overall. Good customer service, but the food quality didn’t match the initial impression.
