White Lion Pub

Absolutely fell in love with this little pub. It is the closest thing we have seen to an English pub! The best vibes, good food and beer. Ok out forever list of favorites. 💗

This place is amazing!! I wish I had found it sooner! Great food and the history of the restaurant is equally as satisfying as the food! I started with the bangers and mash then the next time I went with the cottage pie. With the others that were with me,no one had a bad meal, so you can't really go wrong!!

I must say....I had no idea this place existed until a coworker told me. I was like "Why not, let's go" I am so glad I decided to try this gem out. What a great vibe. The Beatles band was playing non-stop. The owners were so nice. I will be going back. Such a quaint little authentic British Pub! You can see the owner in the pictures. What a beautiful person with so much class. We had the Yorkshire steak and kidney pie and the fish and chips. I recommend the toast and beans as an appetizer. Not something I would usually recommend, but it had that nostalgic taste and flavor 😋

Was not impressed. We started with artichoke dip that just looked plain and no flavor, it was surrounded by Ritz crackers. My wife ordered fish and chips and I ordered the steak pie. The "chips" were undercooked and inedible, they brought more but they were really plain, I just didn't enjoy them at all. The steak pie was okay at best.... really not much flavor for me at all. My wife's fish was tough and chewy, didn't have the light texture in used to with fish and chips. I did enjoy the peas and my wife enjoyed her coffee drink. The environment was fun, I just wish the food was at the same level as the decor. I had high hopes and left disappointed.
