Whole Fried Chicken

I’m from Southern CA, we have plenty of asian restaurants. During my trip here in CC this place caught my attention. Hubby and I planned to have dinner here and it did not dissappoint. We arrived pretty early to beat the rush, the staff greeted us upon entering. We ordered half original chicken, half black meteorite chicken, chicharon, edamame with plain salt, house/combo fried rice, and juicy pork dumplings (xialongbao). Appetizer: We decided to have simple salt edamame so we can enjoy it without getting too overwhelmed with seasoning. The chicharon was really good. It has some kind of Chinese five spice seasoning which my family loves. Xialongbao (dumplings) were pretty good, it’s a family favorite and we always order it back in SoCal. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (11/10) I don’t hand out 11/10s lightly, but Whole Fried Chicken has officially broken my rating scale and possibly rewired my brain chemistry. This place isn’t just an Asian restaurant—it’s a spiritual experience disguised as a meal, and I would like to formally apologize to every other restaurant I’ve ever loved because they’ve all been demoted. Let’s start with the obvious: the whole fried chicken. Perfectly crispy on the outside, impossibly juicy on the inside, seasoned like someone’s grandmother was standing in the kitchen whispering ancient secrets into the oil. Everything we ate at this spot was really good! We ordered the garlic cheese curds, orange chicken with lo mein, and black meteorite fried chicken wings! Everything tasted super fresh and flavorful. The chicken was juicy and had a great crisp to it with generous portions. Don't be afraid to try the black meteorite chicken, it is just an extra flavorful spice mix with a little heat that was great! We also ordered some boba which was also good and very affordable. We definitely look forward to coming back here in the near future!

A super nice hidden gem of a restaurant. The restaurant is clean and neat with nice decor. ..Super friendly and fast service. The menu is plentiful and have a range of a variety. The food is delicious and well worth a try.

The hot and sour soup 🍲 😋 , Crab rangoons and egg rolls were the best Ive had here in CC SUPER CUTE SPOT
