Wholesome Roots Cooking

I have now been to 2 different classes at Wholesome Roots Cooking. I went with each daughter to the Mediterranean class and the Asian class. I had the most fun, it was just great. 12 in the class, all pitch in to make the food with a sit down dinner following. It was just a wonderful time and we learned so much. Thank you Sheila, Tina and Ruth. Highly recommend. I have been telling all my friends.

I purchased tickets for my wife as a birthday gift in December. Neither of us had heard of Wholesome Roots prior. We attended the Adult Pasta Making Class and really enjoyed ourselves. The instructors were humble and kind. Every question was answered thoroughly. At no point did we feel uncomfortable, or silly. Our class was with 6 others. 1 couple and a group of 4 friends. Everyone had a chance to speak and the environment was curated to learn. Plus, BYOB, so my wife and I didn’t shy from enjoying a bottle of wine, talking with our classmates and volunteering to help any chance we had. Same with our classmates. My son has taken several cooking classes through the parks department with Wholesome roots and every time the food is delicious and healthy. My son absolutely loves all the new snack ideas and that he gets to cut up everything. The owner is so friendly and kind and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this place for a fun time learning how to cook.

This was a gift to my husband and I from my sister. Highly recommend!! This was so much fun! The instructors were amazing for our Pasta class and we really enjoyed meeting the other guest’s. We will definitely return❤️🙌❤️

Meghan at Wholesome Roots provided a fantastic Cook-Off team event for our staff and student volunteers. It was amazing. The three hour event began with learning to decorate cookies that look quite fancy. Then on to two team challenges to create a recipe and compete to see which was best. We had to work together to decide which of the provided ingredients to use (and much), create a poster advertising the food, and a slogan or jingle to promote it. As a team we had to present our product. There were a couple of fun games that gave the winner a head start of some sort in the cooking challenge.
