Wicked Wolf North

I celebrated my 51st birthday with lunch at Wicked Wolf North, and the experience was quite memorable. The cuisine was great, with the short ribs and risotto standing out as particularly well-executed—rich, flavorful, and deserving of high praise for the chef. Desserts were equally satisfying: the creme brulee was well crafted, while the bread pudding proved exceptional and worthy of special mention. Wish I would have ordered one to go, but just another reason for us to return. Fantastic place! Amazing atmosphere Great seating options Beware: No gluten free bread. So burgers are off the table, if you're GF They have Gluten Free Pasta, and the fish entrees are GF, but if you want a nice burger or sandwich you will be disappointed.

The Good: Beautifully decorated outside and in the "A" level room. The meats were tender and the the green beans were fresh. They made a good Irish whiskey. The Bad: We were in the "B" level room, next to the hallway where everyone entered, by the doors held open by the fire extinguisher, and next to the plugged in air fresher. Onion soup was bad. Broth was tasteless as well as the blob of mystery cheese plopped on top of a slice of bread. The ice cream scoop serving of mashed potatoes was cold and the duck cooked with flacid skin (it should be CRISP) and awful, cloyingly sweet orange 🍊 sauce. The Ugly: Service. Asked about added sweeteners. She said everything had sugar. We questioned why the gravy (on the short ribs) would have sugar. She seemed to say that it comes in a

We had a wonderful dinner outside on their lovely patio. The Purple Rain drink was amazing, as was the burger (most of the time I don't really notice the bun, but this time it was truly notable). Prices were reasonable ($40 for my drink and Burger with fries including tax and tip). We will definitely be going back for more outdoor dining.

Beautiful and large restaurant/bar with plenty of seating and parking. The food is terrific and the drinks are very good as well. I loved the fireplace in the larger dining room. Rose was our server and she is very informative, kind, and helpful. The sticky toffee pudding is a great choice for dessert although all of the choices seem good.
