Widow's Tavern And Grille

Widow's Tavern and Grille is a casual American bar and grill located on Main Street in Stockertown. This neighborhood spot is open Tuesday through Thursday from 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM, Friday until 11:00 PM, Saturday until 12:00 AM, and Sunday until 8:00 PM. I'd heard a lot of great things about Widow's Tavern and Grille, and the mouthwatering photos I kept coming across gave me the nudge I needed to finally stop in. My friend and I kicked things off with the French onion and chicken parm soups. Served in crocks, they were hot, rich in flavor, and perfectly smothered in gooey melted mozzarella. My wife and I are new to the area and decided to try this place out for date night. We were not disappointed! Our waitress was very polite, professional, and accommodating, the environment was calm and comforting, and the food was perfect - from the apps and soup to salad and entree! Its on the pricier side however they give you very generous portions one can easily make 2 perhaps even 3 meals out of.

A Total Standout! I had an incredible experience here and can’t recommend it enough. From the moment we walked in, the service was truly amazing—the staff was attentive, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. The food was the real star of the show. Every dish was prepared perfectly, bursting with flavor, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. To top it all off, the music created the perfect vibe. It was the right volume to enjoy the atmosphere while still being able to have a great conversation.

Went for brunch today with my 8 yr old grandson and his mom and daughter. The service was top notch; she took care of all the little one’s needs. My grandson and I got brunch and the French toast was out of this world! Probably the best I ever had! We were treated to apple cinnamon bread before the brunch which was fantastic. Eggs Benedict was very good!! Highly recommend!!

We had a 60th surprise party for my husband just last night and it couldn’t have been any better !!!! The owner Judy was so sweet and so attentive to my needs on the party !! Her son Tommy I’m sure I drove crazy with all my questions but was so sweet in helping me with everything !! Linda our server was awesome we never waited for anything she was on the ball the whole night!!!! OH AND THE FOOD ????!!! AMAZING !!!! From the prim rib to the chicken piccata soo yummy!!!! I would 100% recommend this restaurant for a party or even just for dinner you WILL NOT be disappointed!!!!! ❤️
