Wiggins Pass Beach

We were told the beach had just opened back up from the hurricane. We had a great time. Was dead fish floating, and in the sand. But the wind was blowing in the right direction to stay out of the smell. Was plenty of parking. Has portapotties in parking lot. Looked for shark teeth. Only found a small shell. Which is good since we're full time travelers in a5th wheel. Can't take to much.

Before the hurricanes this park was fantastic. Had bathrooms with showers and sinks, picnic tables in the shade. Attendants at the gate. Now its porta potties. Overbuilding means parking is full before 10 am. De Santis has done nothing

A beautiful beach and since the hurricane it has slowly begun to look more normal, beach sand is powdery soft white sand, the water gorgeous blue, green.. a raft is enjoyed so much on a hot day.. floating gently on the calm seas....it is undeniably "total bliss" ...I look forward to my favorite beach access #3 & #4 opening as they have not a year later opened.. but I hope they will before the next busy season begins for if not you will definitely find it hard to find parking and possibly will not be allowed to access if no spots available..which heads up the parking spots fill up very quickly in-season and is limited..if your around off-season enjoy it while you can.. you'll be glad you did as the beach & waters are some of the best beaches I've been on.. best time to check out without th

AHHHH!!!! THE SWEET LIFE!!! Fun, sun, and the surf! Although it was overcast the day we went to this wonderful beach park, it was 77 degrees and the water was about 74 degrees. After paying the $6 entry fee, we drove into one of the 4 parking lots unloaded and walked the 60 steps to the beach. WOW! White powdery sand, picnic benches, and barbecues, with the soothing sound of the waves crashing gently on the beach as a backdrop. The beaches are clean and the park is well maintained and natural. Enjoy a nice book, a stroll along the beach, playing in the waves, a barbecue in the picnic area, or all of the above. The concession stand in parking lot #4 will even deliver snacks, food, and beverages. Great place to have fun or chill or both.

The beach is beautiful. It was very clean and the parking rate is very affordable at $6 for all day & there's ample parking. Highly recommend this beach.
