Wilson County Health Department

This five star goes to Ms Vanessa Cruz for being the best worker in the health department the only worker that does her job and gets everything done on time . I just want to thank her for everything she helped for me and my family thank you Ms Vanessa Cruz

Very pleasant staff. Easy check in. Very little wait. Very well trained +efficient Nurse Practicianers Anna +Hanna. They really listen and communicate to me Very well. It does seem however there should be 1 doctor in the house.

They NEVER answer the phone. I was inside and called and watched them have a conversation with each other while the phone was ringing. No one budged. Then the clerk lady was rude for no apparent reason. The nurse was sweet however. But overall, definitely 1-2 stars for sure!

I had an episode when I was not feeling very well at the health department. I had never felt that bad in my life. Rebecca and Amanda swooped in, helped me & were just so kind. They made sure I was feeling better and even checked on me after I left to ensure I made it home. That’s what healthcare is all about! Wilson County is blessed to have them two as nurses.

I don’t understand why they have a telephone! I got a skin test done for school on a Friday and was informed to return on the following Monday for a reading between the hours of 1 and 4 due to working a hour away. Monday comes and I arrive to the health department at exactly 3pm on the dot! To find the doors locked and a paper on the door that read closed today from 1pm to 5pm for public celebration. I returned the next day for the reading only to be told that I’ll have to retake the skin test because it should’ve gotten read on yesterday (Monday) I told the lady at the front desk that I came on Monday and the doors were locked! She then said oh someone should’ve called you but your going to have to get the shot done again! I got up and walked away… first off it’s a out of pocket cost for
