Winchesters Grill & Saloon

Winchesters Grill & Saloon is an amazing spot with great food, great vibes, and even better service. The menu has a ton of flavorful options, but the steaks and BBQ dishes really stand out — tender, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly. The sides are fresh and hearty, and the portions are generous. The atmosphere has that classic Western charm, comfortable and fun without feeling overdone. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for a solid meal and a laid-back place to relax in Ventura, Winchesters is definitely worth the visit!

Valentine's Day, pub crawl. A chance to have fun time out. The music was great, but as usual Winchester's was totally understaffed. Waited 14 minutes to get a beer. Waitress was doing her best but was overwhelmed with how busy it was. Another flop of a good night out in Ventura.

Always a fun time! Great food, service and music! The new owners (2025) have really improved the restaurant. The new chef created AMAZING food and there are always delicious food and dessert specials! The live bands are fun and there is now a jukebox.

Terrible food and bad service. The meat is tough as rubber, and it's impossible to eat it! Chefs don't know how to cook at all. The cutlery was dirty, especially the fork! Had to be replaced. We ordered one wine and brought another. We ordered a dry red sauvignon wine, and brought a semi-sweet white one. And then it turned out that there was no dry wine at all, which the waiter was obliged to warn about, but did not do so. We tried to order more food at 9:20, but they answered that kitchen already close. Ok, “thank you” for bad evening. No one even apologized for the spoiled meat, dirty cutlery, and mistakes in service. I don't recommend this place to anyone. You will save your money and nerves.

Food was amazing !! Everything was perfect ! Loved the music! , loved the $6 drinks !! Everyone was super friendly , location is perfect ! Right in down town Ventura .very reasonable prices . I added jalapeños to my sliders I love spicy ! I will definitely Come back !!
