Windy Hill Grill

I've lived here a yr and a half and always drive past but never found out what it was! It's a tiny "hut" next to the train tracks that doesn't look like much but the food is amazing!!! A coworker told me about it so I finally went and I'm bummed I never went sooner! We got the wagyu burger special- burger, fries, soda $9.50! Can't beat it! And it was cooked perfectly! Absolutely delicious! I'll be back to try more!

My department at work ordered lunch from windy Hill grill today. It was a rough experience from the start. The lady answered the phone, started talking to us then started yelling and arguing with the man in the background. She was rude. We placed an order for 10 people. For pick up. All burgers that were ordered were to be well done. They were pretty pink, my grilled chicken was literally charcoal, there wasn’t a lick of seasoning on the pork chop sandwich or fries, and there was hair in the shrimp breading. Like cooked in. We have ordered from them in the past but this is a mess and waste of money. We definitely won’t be back. We order as a group frequently and try to support local businesses, but it may just be time for them to hang it up and retire.

The BEST burgers! I love their blackened chicken sandwich too. Everything they make is fresh and delicious and costs less than a McD value meal. Good size portions and great prices! Call ahead so you don't have to wait for takeout. Tiny place but they do have a few stools to eat inside or tables outside.

Real Decent Chi Town food for the Chicagoans! This Food has always been good! From the polish to the chicken, hamburgers and seafood. I usually order the shrimp basket and polish (MAXWELL STYLE). My all time favorites. Food is always always fresh and delicious. Service is always good with their grand kids holding the fork down with customer service, and grandpa the chef! The establishment is small and cFamily owned which always my pleasure to try! mom and pop shops is always must visit !

When I want some gooooood food, that isn’t commercialized, this is it. Yes it’s more than Wendy’s or mcd’s but here they want to serve you fresh, home style food and they take care of you. It’s a small place but those are always the best. Eat in your car, bring it home or snag one of the five seats that they have available. Truly won’t be disappointed :-)
